I am the original recipient of this commemorative paperweight.
I was an Anheuser-Busch employee in the 1970s and 1980s.
For some of that time I worked at the part of the company that manufactured “Budweiser Bakers Yeast”.
Budweiser Bakers Yeast was sold nationwide to large scale bread making companies.
Although little known outside this industry, Budweiser Bakers Yeast was the dominant brand of baker’s yeast used in the United States.
On the Bakers Yeast Company’s 50
th
anniversary, these paperweights were given to select employees, customers and suppliers as both a recognition of this milestone date, and as a moral booster.
The paperweight features a 1927 Peace silver dollar, and an eye-catching Anheuser-Busch A&Eagle logo.

This item is in excellent condition, no surface scuffing or scratches.
