Description
1900's Beveled SOUVENIR Mirror INDIAN MOUNDS PARK St. Paul, Minnesota Dresser Handle HandThis is a souvenir dresser mirror with a celluloid litho of Indian Mounds Park, advertising of the city of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Today, Indian Mounds Regional Park has six remaining Native American burial mounds high atop limestone and sandstone bluffs overlooking downtown Saint Paul. At least 16 burial mounds originally existed on the bluff top. The mounds serve as a reminder of Minnesota's history for future generations and remain sacred to the Dakota Tribe today. It is thought that the mounds were created approximately 1500-2000 years ago.
Dimensions: 4" diameter 8" long.
Weight without packaging: 3 1/2 ounces. It could serve as a paperweight.
In "VERY GOOD" condition. Mirror has a 1/4" surface scratch but otherwise excellent with few other minor scratches; celluloid face has some surface scratches; handle is slightly bent - common for this mirror design at this time. Please review photos carefully for condition specifics.
