Rare antique c1900 original cabinet photograph depicting an old
US Mail Horse Drawn Carriage
with a uniformed
United States Postman
standing in front of the wagon.  The wagon reads
US Mail
on it and is placed in the front yard of a beautiful Victorian home; two women can be seen standing on the porch.  No identifying location or markings.
In Good overall condition.  Image is clean and crisp with nice detail; shows gentle overexposure and a small chip to the top right corner.  Matting exhibits 3 chips to the top edge.  Quite worthy of framing.  Displays handsomely.  Reverse side shows gentle staining at the base as well as an old pencil inscription with framer instructions.
Measures 8” x 5 3/4” and 12” x 10” with the matting.
