Antique Schoolhouse Light Globe Fixture Pendant from JL Hudson Store Detroit

Antique/vintage light fixture. Art glass decorative milk glass shade. All Original Parts to the best of our knowledge. Nice old light.
This unit was purchased many years ago in a junk store in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. I was told this light (and the rest of the pallet of lighting I bought) came from the old J.L. Hudson's Department Store, located at 1206 Woodward Avenue. Based on some old photos, one of which is included in this auction, it may be true. I renovated houses in New Orleans and used a few of these lights in my projects. They are wonderful lights for hallways, bathrooms, small bedrooms, vestibules, and kitchens.

The drop to the bottom of the shade is 35”. The shade is 12" wide and 6" tall. The fitter is 4.5” diameter. Unit could be shortened with a shorter threaded rod.
Ground fitter (blown glass shade). Amazing detail to the shape of the shade. Tiny flea bites on the fitter. Not visible when installed. No cracks or chips. No paint splatters. Clean. Double boxed.
3 screws mount the shade to the fitter. The fitter is a greyish bronze color and is made of brass. The fixture I believe is vintage while the shade is antique. I would estimate the fixture is a reproduction from the 80's and is excellently made, with a barley twist drop cover and a true vintage style canopy. It is usually quite easy to tell a reproduction from an original but this one is made like the older ones, meaning with a trumpet style canopy instead of one of those cheap flat ones, and a thick outer twisted drop cover that is washered at each end. If it weren't for the tags, I would determine this was from the 40's or 50's.
Unit is tagged as "Union Made" in the USA.
Drop pipe has one small area that is corroded, however it is not really apparently and adds to the "antique-ness" of the overall unit.
All joints are snug.
Includes crossbar mount.
New wiring with porcelain medium base E-26 socket.
No paint splatters. Clean.
No light bulbs are not included.
