CIRCA 1925 US GLASS CO 'OWL' MILK EARLY ELECTRIC NOVELTY FIGURAL LAMP
Circa 1925 US Glass Co 'Owl' milk glass decorated early electric figural lamp. Novelty lamp manufactured by the US Glass Co. The charming shade is a embossed figure of a very tall owl sitting on an embossed patterned base. Painted decorated with cinnamon, tan and brown patches and bright yellow eyes. Embossed milk glass threaded base, with an on/off switch on the cord, with early brass socket on the inside. Older replacement wiring on the lamp, it should probably be re-wired. Complete and correct. Approximately 10" tall overall. Charming little lamp, rarely seen example that is taller than usually found. Both ears have been broken and repaired at some early point. Wonderful
