Historic Post Office department 1941 official notice of the availability of First Flight air mail covers as of September 9, 1941, months before Pearl Harbor. This involves clippers of FAM Route 19. "Covers to be made available are for those to be sent from San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Pedro, Honolulu, , Canton Island, Auckland, and Noumea to Suva (Fiji), and from Suva to each of those points."
