    Delta Airlines did not request philatelic recognition for its December 1987 inaugural flight to Seoul. The flight originated in
    Atlanta and flew via Portland and Tokyo to Seoul’s Kimpo International Airport.
    The Delta Airlines Station in Seoul prepared a cachet to commemorate the event.
    This piece of cardstock received the Delta cachet commemorating the new service but was not carried on the inaugural flight.
