    Description

    On April 28, 1980, Delta Airlines expanded its service to Salt Lake City with separate nonstop flights from
    Denver and Dallas / Ft. Worth. Salt Lake City was added as an intermediate stop between Atlanta and
    Reno on the same date.
    Official philatelic recognition was authorized for all segments involved.
    Delta used McDonnell Douglas DC-8 equipment.
