    1996 Hallmark Ornament Freedom 7 NASA Spacecraft.  #1 in Journeys into Space Series.  Nice detailed ornament with light and sound celebrating 35th Anniversary of the launch of the Freedom 7 on 5/5/61.
    When you plug this into a socket on your miniature light string, you'll hear an actual countdown from NASA's Mission Control Center in Houston, plus authentic sounds of the rocket's ignition, after pressing the Launch button on top of the base.  The sound will activate flickering lights to simulate ignition.  The message will play one time and stop automatically.
