This coin is chock full of symbolism. The primary design element is Britannia, the symbol of Roman Britain.  Britannia is a young woman wearing a Corinthian helmet. She wields Poseidon's Trident, representing dominance over the seas. In her left hand she extends an olive branch. Beside her is a Greek hoplite shield sporting the Union Jack, and seated next to her is a Lion, long a symbol of England and Scotland.
    Only 167,000 minted.
    Coin packed in baggie.
