Description: I've been in love with Hartland's Regal series of models for a long time, and this is my first chance to customize one (they're HARD to get in custom body condition, and are pricey even then!) Similar in scale to a Breyer traditional model, this is the Hartland Regal Quarter Horse, a beautifully detailed sculpt by Roger Williams from Hartland's early days of model horse production. He came to me with his original paint job in sad condition, so it was makeover time!
I carved his ears, nostrils, mouth, and hooves, and sculpted chestnuts on all four legs, as well as stallion parts. I also sanded down and filled in his gnarly seams and Hartland logo to make him nice and smooth. I then painted him to a dramatically shaded blue roan with no white markings, and glossed his eyes, nostrils, mouth, and hooves. He is a VERY stunning piece of art in person! He does have a few VERY minor imperfections in his finish; you have to look close to notice them. But he would be a marvelous addition to your collection!
He measures just under 8" tall.
