    Up for sale here is a Little Tikes Jelly Bean Racer in yummy orange.  I am not entirely sure how to describe this kidney shape, sort of a doodle but, sort of lima bean.  The handles suggest insect feelers, but in a completely friendly way.  The soft organic curves are very modernist—though this toy is most certainly much later than its midcentury styling, as it is marked with the company's web address on the bottom!  Also the recycling symbol (it's a 4).  I don't know what else could help date it, let me know if you have any questions or need more images.
    Best guess is that it should fit a toddler between one and three years old.  It measures abou

    16 ½" front to back
    9 ½" tall at the bulges
    8 ½" high in the center of the saddle area
    6 ¼" wide at the equator
    14" to the top of the balls on top of the handles
    It is used but in good condition.  There is some space between the handle flanges and the body shown in closeup in the penultimate photo.  They are not loose.  There are a few minor marks, especially on the underneath.
    I have not attempted to clean it at all.  Pretty sure the brownness on the wheels will come off though the scratching will not.  (Unless you wanted to sand them or something—not recommending that.)
    If this is a gift for a child then giving it a gentle wash could be included.  If this is for a collector then I expect we shouldn't touch it.

    I may not know what to call it, but this orange scooter is so appealing I am sure it can't help but bring a grin of childhood delight to it's future new owner.
