    Description

    The decision in the Peoria Service Investigation by the Civil Aeronautics Board granted Ozark Air Lines (later absorbed by Trans World Airways which was acquired by American Airlines) authority for the extension of this route from Peoria to Detroit.
    No official cachets were used at either city.
    This cover was carried on the December 15, 1976 inaugural Air Mail Route 107 flight from the
    Detroit, Michigan Airport Mail Facility to
