    On September 15, 1950, Parks Air Lines inaugurated initial service on this route. Service was from East Saint Louis to Chicago via the intermediate points of Saint Louis, Springfield, Decatur and Champaign / Urbana. Champaign and Urbana jointly used the University of Illinois Airport.

    On September 26, 1950, Ozark Air Lines took over Air Mail Route 91 after the Civil Aeronautics Board had nullified the certificate issued to Parks Air Lines.
