    Description

Prohibition Prescription Doctor Whiskey Spiller Stub Bar Washington DC Ellen
    Welcome
    &
Thank You for Shopping In the USA!
AA rare original Prohibition doctor's prescription stub for Whiskey... 16 ounces (pint)...for Acute Bronchitis! This prescription stub was retained by the doctor and open to inspection by Federal Officers! Please see photos!
The whiskey was prescribed for Ellen Simpson of Washington, DC, by Dr. William Walter Spiller, of Washington, DC and Brentwood, MD, on January 8, 1932. It was issued by the Treasury Department and when held to the light, PROHIBITION is partially watermarked.
The prescription stub measures 4 1/2" by 3", has a small tear out on the right border, otherwise condition is excellent...a great script from the Prohibition days!
This is a FANTASTIC piece of history and would be great to display in a pharmacy, wine cellar, distillery, museum, bar or office! Also a great gift or an addition to a collection of pharmacy, medicine, US currency, Alcoholics Anonymous, Capone, bar, Americana, stamps and DEA items!
Pleased to combine shipping with other Prohibition Prescriptions, Liquor Licenses, Opium Forms & Pharmacy Labels. As always, many thanks to my regular customers for your continued patronage! :)
All items ship within 24 hours of payment!
