    Description

Prohibition Whiskey Medicine Prescription Doctor's Stub Bar Westfield PA  8/12/33
    Welcome
    &
Thank You for Shopping In the USA!
A great original Prohibition doctor's prescription stub for Whiskey 16 oz! This stub was retained by the doctor and open to inspection by Federal Officers. Also, the doc had nice penmanship!
From the days of Al Capone, speakeasies and moonshine this was the only legal way to drink liquor in the US!
The whiskey was prescribed for James Benhoney or Berhaney, by Dr. Howard M. Farwell, of Westfield, PA, on August 12, 1933.
It was issued by the Treasury Department and when held to the light, PROHIBITION is partially watermarked. The prescription stub measures 4 1/2" by 3", has light age toning, otherwise, condition is excellent!
This is a fantastic piece of history and would be great to display in a pharmacy, museum, bar or office! I am happy to answer any questions, please feel free to email and thank you for your interest!
Pleased to combine shipping with other Prohibition Prescriptions, Liquor Licenses, Opium Forms & Pharmacy Labels. As always, many thanks to my regular customers for your continued patronage! :)
All items ship within 24 hours of payment! :)
