RARE 1912 "MICHIGAN" ESSAY BOOKLET SIGNED BY AUTHOR JOHN WRIGHT (HARBOR SPRINGS)

Description

This is a rare 1912 booklet (see pictures) entitled MICHIGAN, and SIGNED by HARBOR SPRINGS, MICHIGAN native John C. Wright.  Mr. Wright was a noted Harbor Springs author, and published several works during his lifetime.  This booklet, approximately 9 pages in length, contains the .00 prize-winning editorial essay in a Detroit Times newspaper contest.  it was probably copyrighted by Mr. Wright, and distributed in this booklet form.  It is clean and intact, exhibiting some wear, discoloration, and creasing from handling and storage over the past 110 years.  Except for the nice signature, there is no handwriting in the booklet.  It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that John Wright enthusiast, Harbor Springs resident, Northern Michigan historian, or historical memorabilia collector in your life!  Postage is .25.  And, of course I'll combine postage on multiple purchases.  Sorry, NO international shipping.  Be sure to check the other items in my eBay store, too!
