    Only 100 of these framed flown patches were distributed. Even less with the parachute piece.
    This framed SpaceX Dragon 2 Pad Abort patch was flown in the capsule on May 6, 2015. The Pad Abort mission was part of the certifications for the capsule to be used as the new design for human rated flight. The piece of the parachute was cut from the used parachute for the water landing of that mission, and handed to me by one of the lead engineers on the project.
    The framed patch measures 13.75"x11.25". The parachute piece measures approx 12"x9". The cut is nota perfect rectangle, but would fold nicely into a newer frame if desired.
    I worked for SpaceX until 2019 in various departments, and spent a majority of my time in Dragon R&D. Helping to bring to life the current Crew Dragon. Validation pics are shown.
