    Vintage undated booklet titled "Pruning Peach Trees, with Some Notes on Their General Care" by W. H. Chandler, Assistant Professor of Horticulture, University of Missouri, Columbia, Mo. There is no copyright date noted in the booklet, but stated revised and reprinted from Third Annual Report. Thumbing through this book, the only dates within the text range from 1907 to 1911, so would take a guess that this booklet was published sometime after 1911. This booklet is bulletin No. 55 of the Missouri State Board of Horticulture. Booklet contains 33 pages and 17 black/white photos. The contents of this booklet contain: preparation of peach soil; comparative growth of large and small trees; summer pruning; winter pruning; dehorning; annual clipping of branches; advantage of open head; hardiness of buds; cultivation; thinning the fruit; and varieties.
