To produce this beautiful Kafka Screened Etching, first the original design is etched by hand into metal. Then through a painstaking process, color reproductions of the original are embossed in a specially prepared foil. This creates a unique etched surface on each reproduction which reflects light at different angles producing subtle changes in both color and intensity which you will see as your viewing position changes.
