    Description

These nicely sized 12-"-diameter, 1950s-era porcelain enamel fixtures fit nicely in any setting. Each is in fantastic condition, with a three-material construction unique to Westinghouse fixtures of that era: the shades are steel with their original green and white porcelain coating (thick, vivid, and glossy, with a black porcelain rim); just above the shade is a heavy, glazed-ceramic insulator that houses the socket (perfect condition, glossy, with no chips); at the top of the fixture is an iron cap with the distinctive "W" Westinghouse logo. These fixtures look  much as they did when they rolled off Westinghouse's American production line 60+ years ago. Rest assured they will last many decades more. fixtures. This listing begins with 12 available fixtures sold individually. You save on combined shipping when purchasing more than one. Each is identical and in the photos we show you several that are representative of all of them. You may find a very small chip in the porcelain shade, but they look nearly new for all intents and purposes. These fixtures are in "9.8" condition on a 1-10 scale. Truly a rare find. Eleven of the 12 fixtures retains its manufacturer's label, all in remarkable condition -- if you don't like them they come off easily.
Each fixture has a substantial heavy-duty ceramic socket that puts today's imported sockets to shame. The medium-sized socket accepts any typical household, "medium-base" bulb. Each fixture is ready-to-hang, with only simple minor assembly required on your end. As outfitted with a 6" down pipe and a new swiveling ceiling hanger, the bottom rim of the fixture hangs 14.5" down from the ceiling. If you want it to hang closer or further from the ceiling, simply choose a shorter or longer iron pipe (1/2" size) from any hardware store.
We've included 3' of new wiring to give you plenty of flexibility if choosing a longer pipe. The 4"-dia. swiveling ceiling hanger provides some "give" should the fixture be accidentally bumped, and also ensures the fixture hangs plumb -- even if your ceiling electrical box is not exactly level.
Quoted shipping is to the lower 48 states. Like all of our vintage light fixtures, these beauties were completely disassembled and refurbished to ensure they work safely and perfectly for another 60+ years!

VISIT OUR EBAY STORE TO CHECK OUT OUR EXTENSIVE COLLECTION OF HIGH-QUALITY, EXPERTLY RESTORED VINTAGE INDUSTRIAL LIGHTING.
Buy with confidence knowing that all of our vintage industrial light fixtures are:
    *Refurbished to the highest standards.
We carefully disassemble each fixture down to the smallest screw, then refurbish each part. For example, all electrical contact surfaces are cleaned and restored, threaded surfaces are "chased" with taps and dies, and lubricants applied sparingly where needed. We keep the fixtures fully original, only replacing parts when corrosion or safety concerns dictate a new part, such as a new stainless steel screw in place of an old rusted one, or a new safe gasket in place of an old asbestos one.
*Restored and preserved to retain their natural and intrinsic vintage look.
We don't "wring the romance" from fixtures by excessively removing all traces of patina. Instead, metal surfaces are cleaned lightly but completely while preserving the natural patina gained over decades. The parts are then treated to retain the patina and prevent future corrosion.
*Tested and guaranteed to work perfectly.
Before any fixture leaves our workshop it is tested to ensure it works properly. Please check our flawless feedback.
*Packaged extremely well for safe arrival and shipped within 24 hours.
We've shipped vintage light fixtures all over the world with no damage incidents. That's because we use plenty of quality packing materials, and know through years of experience how to pack. Our packing practices meet or exceed the standards established by FedEx, UPS, and USPS.
